Thumbs up Loss, Loss, and What?

2 deaths and one toy which i somehow won .

First Death:

'94 Silverado
Mods:
-Throttle Body Spacer
-Flowmaster Exaust
-24's (lol)

A friend of mine's truck... not fast but w/e neither is mine.

While heading to his house we got stuck in semi-heavy traffic. I was following him as best i could, as soon as we would get to an open/straight away type deal we would both floor it, every tim i would be right on his tail gate (literally) and every time he would be 1 truck length ahead of me or so before we hit the next batch of traffic (usually spaced 300-400yds apart) and had to start btaking..basically form a 30mph roll.

Next Death/what?:
2000ish Accord
Mods:
-Sounded like Intake
-A good sounding exaust...probably one that cost a chit load of money..ie borla or other.
-Not a mod but he had to have V-tec

After leaving my friends house and i get to a stop light im listening to my bob marley and i hear a real sweet "burrrrrrrrrumrumrumrumrumrum" not like far, like actual perfomrance...i look around and the best i can figure its a genuinely stock looking 200ish accord.
no big deal, windows where cracked but the guy looked late 20ish
next i hear a real crappy "bahhhhhh rum rum rum pow pow rahhhh Fart" behind me.
mid 90's ish neon with like a glass pack replacement with home made intake that was resonating...spoiler, but some kinda ok rims...got obnixious so i decided to get obnoxious... in goes my (stolen from my friend) Low and slow CD and abooming i go...

Light on oposint direction goes green and the 2 cars in front, one goeslefft at the last second and the other deiceds he wanted to go right...we pull up and the left aroow goes yellow, i turn my stereo down and figure "aw heck" rev my engine and i hear the accord reving his only to hear the neon reving his.

light goes green and we take off... stright out of the hole i leave both and hold them all the way across the intersection...i hear a faint yet triumphant road coming from behind me "dont you hear the v-tec when i step on the gas, next hting you know your ass is finishing last, ill fix you a type R burger with some Vtec sauce...."
no waxing but it was a decently fast drive by and by now we are doing 60 anyway so my areodynamics arent working to my advantage...the neon is still 3 car lengths behind me...
i let off and flip my wipers one time and he does the same and we get down to 45mph (the limit) and just cruise...
about 2 sec after we start just cruiseing the neon gets in the middle (turning) lane with its flashers on and just keeps going...i rolled my eyes and i know the guy in the accord did the same.

ok im bored and im sapposed to be doing latin...what do you expect?

Re: Loss, Loss, and What?

Haha I had a friend with a 4 cylinder manual ranger (97 I think) and he used to always have to replace his "burnout tire" It was hilarious how he would rev that car all the way out and drop the clutch. I have rarely seen such blatant disregard.

i have a friend the same way, except its a 4cyl gmc something or other and its early 90's, we used to sit in the parking lot after school and he would just sit there and powerbrake for 10 minutes, it was hilarious one time because his tire was moving really slow. looked like he was in slow motion.

Re: Loss, Loss, and What?

too bad i have a locker oh and i didnt mean to burn out. leaving the parking lot at school it had been raining and he pulled out about 15sec ahead of me and had already burned out in the puddle so i was going for some hard acceleration out onto the road. it just reved to 2500, feathered the cluth out, had already had the clutch completely out and then floored it, about 1/2 sec after i floored it i hit the puddle and both wheels spun for about 6 sec all the way around the corner (had to let off to keep the engine from bouncing off the rev limiter).
