Newbie With Question

We have an 02 with 97k on it mostly problem-free so far.
Sunday my hubby had it idling outside a store while I shopped with the Ac on high,on the trip home,we experienced a total loss of power.
No cel came, the temp gauge stayed in normal range.
He changed the plugs on Monday,no sign of any oil or coolant on or near them
Timing belt & water pump changed mid-may.
NYS has an emmisions test for inspection it passed with flying colors a few months ago.
We let it ist about 15 minutes and it ran fine again.
Can anyone give me a clue as to what this problem might be?

Re: Newbie With Question

Several with engine that quits and then comes back 15 minutes later have experienced crank sensor failure. However this generally shows first by sporadic failure to start, and 02 seems quite recent for that trouble . Anyway this remains as a possibility.
