*In-Progress* Dodge Viper GTS

Well, after completing the civic with plentiful problems, I've started on a much more abstract car than what I'm used to - the Dodge Viper GTS kit by Revell.

I haven't done much on this kit. I'm still working on just making basic models, with no special detailing or modding or anything. I'm just trying to build up my paint skills and model skills and what-not before I go about trying something extremely difficult.

Below is the main body and the hood painted. I've got the frunt bumper primed, but not painted yet. I'll take more pictures as the project progresses if there is enough interest in it. So please comment about it and if you would like in-progress pictures, or if that would be just wasting our times!

Hood...

Main Body...

Enjoy!

-Steven

Looking great so far! Just a heads up, If you paint ALL the body parts at once, you have less of a chance to end up with different color (Dark-Lightness) Body Parts.

Looks great! I don't remember for sure, but do you have to attatch the front bumper after putting it all together? I hate it when that happens. Almost as much as I hate forgetting what I built two...oh wait, now it's been 12...months ago. But yeah, I love the color.

OH now I remember; I had the entire car assembled and puttied before I painted it. Made it interesting to assemble, though!

Hey Frank, this really is a good kit. Are you afraid of painting a dash that's already attatched to the car or something?
