Question Tamiya TS-x conversion chart?

I would like to know how to mix the TS-55 Dark Blue from the acrylic range of colors to use in the airbrush. Anyone knowing the conversion between the TS-range of colors to the X/XF range? Tamiya does not seem to have one...
Thanx!

Re: Tamiya TS-x conversion chart?

Why don't you buy the TS-55 can and transfer the contents to a bottle for airbrushing?? Very easy to do, just stick a standard drinking straw to the spray can nozzle, aim the straw end into an empty jar (at least 1oz, or it will spill away), and spray... Surprisingly, the paint will NOT come out that fast, the whole operation is quite clean in fact! After you have enough paint in the jar, let the propellant mixed in the paint gas out (DO NOT SHAKE OR STIR the paint at this stage, as the very cold paint will bubble and overflow the jar if you stick a stirrer into it!). Warm the paint jar in your hand to accelerate the warming / gassing out phase. After 10mn, most of the gas has evaporated and you can begin stirring the paint gently, it will bubble a lot, but after a few minutes almost all the remaining gas should bew gone, and the paint will be ready to airbrush. Best of all, it is already thinned to the right proportion for airbrushing.
