Jeep Rubicon -progress

Revell Tomb Raider Jeep Rubicon diecast kit.

The Unimog was only the begining. I guess I'll make some kinda race team. Not really..I dunno..Nevermind.
As in my 1st one, I stated I like this kit. I have made the susepension articulated.

As you can see. Drilled out the "shocks", inserted aluminum tube, and extended it. I hope I can have this lifted. That was the main plan.
Cut these off

I still have to mount the brackets that hold the arms to the frame. I might also extend the arms/bars? because they don't seem to catch all the time.

Moveable!!!

Stripped and repainted, I cannot describe the color. It isn't one color, but it's not colorshift. It is just the paint has tooo much pearl in it. Many pearl. The base was the R33 purple color, then I added pearl to that. (I used this pearl poweder made by Pearl-Ex) Then mixed the pearls in the clear coat..AYE!!!! It is sooo much lighter now

Thanks,
Frank X.

P.S. Who was that, that made the high lift jack? Please PM or post link or pics. Thanks agian.

No..It's, school, AF, models, repeat. Really. There are little portions of time when I get to go out and purchase new models. But then it just goes back to models.
