Starter solenoid

The starter solenoid is bad on my '95 4.0 and all the parts stores are saying that the whole starter has to be replaced--that the solenoid is unavailable by itself.

I've seen catalogs with starter solenoids and a whole bunch of other parts,like windows regulators and other stuff, but I can't remember the name of the company.

Anybody know?? The cat that I'm thinking of has yellow pages and is kind of the size of a Harbor Freight cat.

Starter is $199.00 and a solenoid should be about $20, so I'm looking before I buy a starter.

Well - Autozone doesn't list a separate solenoid in their web store. Only a starter assembly.

Suppose that doesn't add much hope to your search....sorry
