Thumbs up new Head

i decided to keep my car.....so i took off the head of my 1.5.....and was wondering if i could put a 1.8 head on it sum 1 plz reply

i dont think that would work. but that's just my opinion. why don't you just get a 1.8 jdm engine. they have low mileage and arent that expensive. i seen some on ebay for like less than 500 bucks. but then if your switching from 1.5 to 1.8 you would need the wiring harness along with the ecm/pcm and preferrably the 1.8 manual gearbox

1.8l heads will not fit on a 1.5l, there is a 1.5l DOHC head you can swap on it but they are very hard to find, i would suggest taking the stock head and getting it machined, ported and polished as much a the thing can be, i was quoted 250-300 bux by a local shop. then maybe get a RPW stage 1 or 2 cam and/or buy my NOS kit(im sellin it for cheap )and that shit will fly....i heard of somebody doing that and was said to be hella quick.. good luck dood.
