sanding

sup fellas i got tierd of hand sanding my car so i got one of those orbitol sanders and i wanted to ask what grit sand paper should i get? cuz im hearing the wrong paper can mess up the metal?

For bare metal I would use 80 grit. The brand the works best is green corp from 3m as it last the longest. 6 inch da sander at 45 to 60 psi
