Re: ohhhhh Sh*t

Are you running stock boost? Sounds like fuel cut to me.

Fuel cut. It kinda feels like you're going along smoothly, then you suddenly hit a brick wall, and keep going. It's fuel cut.

If you're hitting fuel cut with the t-25 it's because something has gone wrong. I'd guess the car is assuming more air than there actually is, because of a leak somewhere.

Re: ohhhhh Sh*t

I can almost guarantee %100 that its not fuel cut. No matter what boost you run, the t25 wont flow enough air for the ecu to even THINK about activating fuel cut.

Most stumbling problems like that are caused by ignition-related gremlins. What kind of spark plugs are you running? I say check your plugs, make sure they are ok and that they are gapped correctly. Check your plug wires and make sure there is no arcing. It wouldn't hurt to do a boost leak test either.

Re: ohhhhh Sh*t

I have something similar going on with my car... I just changed the wires and plugs, so I dont know, but it is boost related for sure. At times at WOT, the car pulls like its on steroids. Other times, it stumbles and though the boost guage reads 10 psi (where i set it), the car accelerates as if it were an NT, with stumbling and slight jerking.

Are you doing any datalogging? It could be that your getting some knock and the ecu is pulling back timing. Even a few degrees of timing pulled makes a huge difference and also feels kinda like the car is stumbling. Hook up a logger and see if this is the case.

Re: ohhhhh Sh*t

I'm not running a logger as yet, but you could be right. I just checked my spark plug well, and there was a puddle of oil collected there. The car does make a knocking/ticking (not injector or lifter tick, different kind) sound on acceleration, almost as if a cylinder is not active. I'm going to get that checked soon.

speaking of the anti-lock...I recently noticed that my fuse was missing in the fuse box under the hood. Does this mean that my anti-lock is not being activated or is screwed up? Thanks

For the first question, if it is a sudden and complete loss of acceleration that could be fuel cut (if you have upgraded parts). For the car that's getting messed up at about 10psi, if you are running iridium plugs they could be your problem. I had the same exact thing happen. I put in brand new iridium plugs and it still happened. I put in the $2.00 NGK plugs and it worked perfectly. Even if they are brand new plugs, get some NGK stock plugs and put them in (it's only like $10.00). That problem drove me nuts for over a month. It was intermitent like you described. Fuck Iridium plugs.
