Why do you like Buicks?

I have a very odd list of cars I'm looking at to replace my Malibu. Until recently, the Civic was virtually the only car on the list. But then I heard about how reliable the GM 3.8L V6 was, and found I could afford a late '90s Buick. Here's my question:

Why do you like Buicks? I know the 3.8 is good, but what about the other components of the cars? Any fun to drive? That sort of thing.

Re: Why do you like Buicks?

A 90's Buick with the 3.8 that you might think was fun to drive? And Civic's were your previous options? I would go with a Buick Reatta.

Why do i like Buick's? Because they're quality cars, they're comfortable, reliable, get good gas mileage, and they're just so damn nice...and with the 3800 they have a little pep.

Good quality, parts are readily available, the 3800 is a 250,000 mile motor, reliability, comfort, easy to work on & American made.

Besides, I live in Buick City (when in Rome).

Re: Why do you like Buicks?

Reliability, good performance, and value. Buicks like the Regal holds better resale value than its GM counterparts and against cars like the Ford Taurus and Dodge Intrepid, etc.

I've got a '01 Regal GS (52K miles) and '99 LS (103K miles) and would never consider trading them in or selling. They are keepers.
