I have a 99 GMC Jimmy, 4.3 Vortec. I am looking at a catalog that claims throttle body spacers will give up to 22 hp gain, 4 mpg and 25 ft/lbs more torque. Are they pulling my leg or what?? Any help would be greatly appreciated.. Thanks in advance. They are 1 inch and design creates a spiral flow.

spacers are a good bang for the buck. normal gains are 5-15hp depending on the engine. you may pic up 1-2 mpg at best. hope this helps.

Actually will decrease economy and is a complete waste of money.

guess it depends on engine. 80-90 bucks could be spent on something better.
