242 rebuild
haven't been on for awhile. been rebuilding my transfer case. not a whole lot to these things is there. took about 5 hrs not counting waiting for parts. Cost me 180 dollars in parts and 200 in tools. {most of it for a transmission jack.} Probably didn't really need some of the new tools, but, hey any excuse to buy new toys! How do you post pics here? I have lots showing the guts of this thing if anybody is interested. The forum rules says I can't post inserts. it's a 242 that I swapped in for a 249. 95 GCL.
