3 or5 leaf?
hello again. my 69 nova has monoleaf springs. Now they are soft and the hi jackers leak someware so the back is hanging down. Do someone know if the 3 leaf aftermarket springs at the place of the monoleaf are a good solution? Or are the 5 leaf OEM springs the one and only thing to instal indifferent the more of cost and work (replace spring perch),
what are your experience? |

I had the same problem with my 71 Nova. I replaced my monoleafs with the 5 leafs that I got from a local big truck shop (but 3 leafs would do also). You might want to check you local truck shops, most make their own leaf springs and are way cheaper than buying the factory ones and just as good. Mine bolted right up to the existing perches. The only thing you will have to do is ditch the short little bolts that bolt them in and get the large u-bolts that go around the axle. Hope this helps.
