Turbo Update
I thought I'd give you guys an update on my turbo project. These are most of the parts I've got so far:
Parts List: 14b turbo - td04h - traded for a b16a2 bare block and crank (I also got a t25 turbo out of the deal as well.) ARP Head Studs - traded for a d15b7 block HF Manifold - got free off a hf motor I picked up for free 450cc Blue Top injectors - traded for a 92-95 stock ex exhaust manifold Eclipse BOV - Free from a friend Starion Intercooler - (not pictured) I got for $45 from Kristindumm - currently at friends house getting new end pipes welded on. So, technically the only money I've shelled out was the $45 for the intercooler. I'm going to be spending a pretty penny on the ECU for the turboedit stuff. I'm going to try and run a Moates Ostrich USB Eprom Emulator so I can do realtime programming and datalogging on my laptop. My friend is going to be doing most of the welding for the intercooler piping and the downpipe. I won't be able to use an adaptor plate because I'm leaving the A/C in the car (damn global warming). So I'm working on a custom adaptor pipe to move the turbo over to the passengers side a few inches. All of these pieces will be cleaned up of course before they go into the car. Well, that's that - I'll keep you all updated.

Re: Turbo Update
just to let you know, the factory o2/downpipe housing from a 14B will not clear the factory cross member in an 88-91... you'll need either an aftermarket crossmember or a custom downpipe made.

Re: Turbo Update
dude looking nice, if you go ahead on the fab. on the adapter plate that would be a good write up for people who want turbo and a/c. GL
