blower motor

2000 XJ... 4cyl 5-spd 2wd

speed 3 on the blower motor control doesn't function... are the resistors and such located at the controls or elsewhere in the car ?

any help would be apprecieated

believe the blower motor resistors are located on the heater housing - likely near the blower motor.

Hey,
I have a '93 and the resistor is on the heater housing - passenger side just to the left of the Hvac door and about were a passengers toes would be - it is about 2"x2" and is almost flush on the outside - I think there are only two screws.

Hope this helps and is the same on your model.
