95 jetta 2.0 questions

hey recently purchased a 95 jetta with the 2.0 motor while im not impressed with output im going to invest a few grand into the motor. im going to do all the basic exhaust, intake,chip etc. but my question is im doing the motor over bore .20 over new heavier internals etc. which is the best turbo or supercharger for my application im concerned only with hp/tq not price$$ im wanting around 250-300 whp ill do whatever to ge there..or would it be wise to dump the motor and do the 1.8t swap?

With a name like 69 Nova guy I'm guessing you, like me, have gotten spoiled with the sbc's! I'm not sure how likely it is to see those hp/tq numbers, but the better engine if money is no object is the vr6 and go from there. If that's not your cup-o-noodle, talk to this guy at http://scirocco.psycode.com/aba/ he seems to know a thing or two about modifying 2.0L.
