Electric Fan VSS?

Installing an e-fan here in a few days, and will run the dual relay set up for high and low speed.

Here's the question; every set up I've ever seen has the fan come on low speed at a preset temp (say 200), and then the fan kicks to high speed at the next temp setting (say 210).

Additionally, if at any point the A/C is turned on, the fan will kick to high automatically.

Has anyone ever tied into the VSS signal so that if, for instance, the vehicle is doing over 45 mph with the A/C on, the fan does not come on? The fan would still come on automatically by the engine temp, regardless of speed. Additionally, it would come on continuously if the A/C were on and the vehicle were doing less than 45 mph.

Just a thought; I know the stock set up is for the fan to come on automatically if the A/C is on, but I just don't like the idea of doing 80 mph down the freeway with the A/C on and the fans running on high.

Also, how would you tap into the VSS and convert it into an on / off signal for use in a relay?

Any helps appreciated!
