also mike,
(sorry I didn't see your post earlier) on non-commercial applications, you can download pdf versions on '88-'05 owner's manuals at motorcraftservice.com for ford, lincoln, and mercury vehicles (go to the customer info and look for I think it's manuals or books.) ctesla
