First post -- first Geo

Hi all I got my first Geo today -- 1990 Metro 1.0 5 speed with air -
body has minor damage ( a couple of small dents) - no compression in 2 of 3 cyl.
wrong throttle body installed - correct one in front seat
not getting gas

Any way only a $100
My mechanic who I trust is going to fix it all for less than $500

I do need some ideas on spiffing up the interior any ideas on where to get seats? and carpet?

Well, the seats are the #1 problem. In the 89-94 suzuki swift GTi, they used a licensed re-make of a recaro seat. VERY comfy. They sit about an inch higher, and will bolt right in.

Keep your eyes peeled on Ebay, or check the teamswift.net forums buy/sell section. There's always someone with a set for sale. Also, see if you can get a used, rebuilt engine head on Ebay. your head probably has burnt valves.
