Pilgrims assemble to image of Jesus - [Religion]

Christians are flocking to a northwestern Bosnian town to view an image of Jesus Christ that allegedly appeared in a section of a cut tree branch two days ago.

The image resembling Jesus' face cannot be seen from a close distance but only from a few meters away.
The branch in the town of Bijeljina was cut about a year ago.

Sceptics have dismissed the image as a freak of nature, but pilgrims have been streaming to the tree, kneeling before it to pray, lighting candles, leaving money and cutting off bark to take home.

The region's Serb Orthodox bishop Vasilije visited the site and said church officials would discuss the phenomenon and advise believers how to behave.

Some people are desperate for a miracle and they expect that by seeing this they will now be a better person, live forever, go to heaven, save starving children, and drop 20lbs in 2 days with no diet or exercise. People like that are freaking nuts, if they cant accept that out of the bagizillion (yes that is an exact figure) of trees hacked on every day there is a chance that something will eventually slightly somehow possibly resemble something close to what we think jesus might have looked like at one point in his life although we have no photos of him lying around.

I honestly hope this picture of Jesus that every christian has burned into their minds is actually some guy named Bob who thought it would be funny to take his picture and tell people it was a picture of Jesus.

Actually it is wrong. Many Christina historians say Jesus would look more like (just an example people) Osama Bin Ladin. It sounds crazy but they both were born in the same region, same skin tone, and other things like that. Western civilization though likes to give him a "whiter" image.

As for the things apearing, happens everyday. Sure you can see things if you notice them all around you. These things just happen to look like Jesus. I don't think it's something to get all excited over though.
