my 93 F 150

i just got a 93 f 150 regular cab XLT, has a straight 6, 4speed w/ o/d....
2wd.... i want to put a lift on it possibly 3 inch, and it has deal exhaust, but it just doesnt have that loud rumble to it.... so... i'll probably get a new muffler or something,... any suggestions or advice on my new truck... all help is appreciated

Re: my 93 F 150

(1) If you want bigger tires go with a leveling kit, and then do a 3 inch body lift. That will be your best bet to fit 32s or 33s. (2) If you want it to be really loud, get straights (presonally i dont like them because they provide little back compression.) A flowmaster 40 series would give a nice rumble. (3) That I6 is a great motor, i have a truck like yours myself, the only thing that i would say "needs" to be done is a cold air induction, increases gas mileage, and gives a little more hp. Dont expect a big change because its not, but your motor will run cooler and easier. And other than that, you have an amazing truck man, be nice to it and it'll be nice to you.
