Check Engine Light due to leak transmission fliud.

Hi,

We had this happen this last week and have been fighting this with the dealer. It looks like they haven't been doing our transmission fluid during oil changes/check-ups. As as result we later had the check engine light come on, my father checked all the fliuds and noticed that there was no more transmission fliud. So he decided to go out and purchase some fliud himself. He refilled it for the minivan (Dodge 2001), but the light still comes on.

I know this question may have been posted somewhere else (I do apologize in that case), but does anyone know how to reset the computer for this condition. I have seen other posts suggesting people go to a place called the Autozone, but we don't have that in Canada. I have also seen posts for this to do it for certain conditions but I don't know if it will work for transmission fliud.

All the dealer mechanic want to charge is $100... and it is to correct their mistake. He also made up reasons and excuses as to other things that would cause us to lose all the transmission fliud. My father has a meeting with the manager next week, but we don't think it will go anywhere. Since we pruchased the van, we have always dealt with this one dealer.
