SLK or TT??

Hey guys...
Im from sydney, and got a budget of about 40-45K AUD. Ive been looking at a 98-99 SLK230 Kompressor for some time now...and recently looking at the Audi TT Quattro Converible. I know this is the TT forum, and you guys probably would vote for the SLK...but yeah any thoughts? Im looking for a nice slick eye catcher...The SLK is diff an eye catcher...and the TT is a bit of a VW beetle...any thoughts...

I've also got 2 15" Subs from my previous car i wanna put in this new car...and im not holding my breath if it can fit it or not...even one? even if i pull out the spare tyre?...any thoughts? I heard ya gotta take out your luggage outta the SLK before the roof goes back in...so ya think it would fit? Would it fit in the TT??

Any suggestions would be MUCH MUCH appreciated.

Well that all depends on what you want to do with the car. In my own opinion I like my Audi it is entirely unique in Audi's line-up the reason I went with mine was because it was cheap second it has been a real eye catcher from the time that I got it the interior is spacious and comfy plus nothing compares to hearing the Blow Off Vavle in my TT. One problem I have with the Mercede's is that the 6-spd versions are somewhat rare MBZ thought it would be nice to put just auto's in their cars and not in anything else if you look up on their website even the McLaren comes only as an automatic! This is what drove me away from getting a Benz really it just depends on what you want to do with the car if you want to cruise get the Benz if you want to drive real fast get the TT you can't go wrong because it's your car! Also for your subs I can fit 2 12's plus amp in my TT unless you hate trunk space I think your 15's can fit also. It's your money and believe me you would be happy with both no matter what decision you make the only trouble is what color!
