springs that dont lower?

can i get springs that wont lower my car? or wont lower it much, cos i need the ground clearance, but i want the stiffer better handling suspension.

Springs aren't so much for handling as they are for looks. If you want better handling, get better struts, some that you can adjust and make them stiff. That and some sways and you've got a lot better handling than just stiffer springs. THe springs themselves won't do much for you.

Eibach Pro kit might do the trick...

or if you have lots of time to look around, you can try get Integra Type R's OEM (stock) springs & struts sets (in good condition)

thx, ill probably get kyb agx's and sway bars then but my stock springs need to be replaced eventually anyways.

Not true, since different spring makers have different spring rates front to back, you can find a make that offers a higher rear rate increase then they increased the front, theirby reducing your understeer and improving your dynamics. Certainly the engineer's at the car makers disagree as well. BMW 3 series, M version has stiffer springs, Audi A4, the S4 has stiffer springs, Honda Civic, type R has stiffer springs. And yes it goes without saying that they all of course have firmer dampening to go with those stiffer springs.

Stiffer sway bars are only a good idea when they are NOT so stiff that the hinder the suspensions ability to act indepently. Unless of course your car never encounters bumps, I.E. a race track. But I can't think of a aftermarket sway bar maker where this would be an issue.

Spring rate example:
Stock front 211lbs rear 114lbs
brand X 320lbs 142lbs
brand y 330lbs 240lbs

Brand "y" would lessen understeer on a already understeering car more than stock springs or brand X.

well I meant springs with larger drops. Certainly if you want better handling however, and you were either going to get aftermarket springs with stock struts or aftermarket struts with stock springs, you'd get the latter. Unless of course you get extreme spring rates in which case your ride goes to hell...
