'93 3.8l lx wagon. Water pump bad

So I saw that antifreeze was spewing out of the water pump so i am in the process of trying to replace it. I just cant get the damn thing out!!!
i have removed all the bolts but I cant get it passed the 4 studs that stick out passed the pump. It doesnt have enough room to get past the studs before it hits the passenger side wheel well. I checked to make sure that the studs were tight and they are. What do I do???
