Re: Blinkers dont work

it's probably the signal switch....the actual small shaft on the steering column...i had the same thing w/ my '95 lumina once...replaced that signal stick, and it was as good as new.

Re: Blinkers dont work

I had a similar problem with my '96 Lumina. The blinkers just stopped working. I had the integrated cruise/blinker and it was replaced under extended warranty. The dealer said good thing I had the warranty, as the switch alone was $250.00 without the labor to disassemble the steering column.

Re: Blinkers dont work

it's the hazard switch. I got my impala with 29,000 miles and that was the first thing that had to be replaced. jBlinkers would work sometimes.

Yup, go to the dealership and tell them you need your hazard switch replaced. I'm 100 percent sure thats what it is....

Re: Blinkers dont work

i did notice that when i had the dash apart, and the hazard switch was disconnected, the signals didn't work. but since ur saying it's working intermittantly, it sounds more like my old lumina's problem, which was in fact, the signal stick. i'd lean that way, b/c it's not a constant problem.

Re: Blinkers dont work

I have the same problem on my 2001. My problem is intermittent, but I think it's the hazard switch. When my blinkers stop working, I just turn my hazards on and off, then the blinkers work fine.
