computer codes PO133 & P1131

The service engine soon light was on in my 96 Conti, so I drove it to Auto Zone where they pulled the codes for me and printed them out, one code is PO 133, which is #1 oxygen sensor, this I understand, the other code is troubleshooting P1131, it states " Lack of H02S switch- sensor indicates lean ", this I don't understand and the folks at the Zone didn't know what it meant either.
Can somebody enlighten me as to what this code means.
Thanks,
A very confused crazyhorse

Hey,

I had the exact same problem/experience with my 97 Cont. at autozone yesterday. Well, they at least told me that it was most likely the O2 sensor in bay 2? Did you replace the sensor? Where was it and was it a moderate to easy repair. I just inherited this Cont. and have never worked on it before aside from changing the oil. The Linc. dealer here charges about $100.00 (non-repair-deductible) just to take a look.

No ,I have not changed the sensor as of yet, but it could not be that hard, it's a natter of unpluging the sensor and screwing in the new one, I suspect the only hard part will be locating the sensor and getting to it.

Ok thanks. I was looking around for those sensors earlier today. They're not that cheap, even online. If you find a good price, please let me know and I'll do so vice versa.
