Re: new wheels

I think 17's are too big for a civic. And if it isn't lowered, you might get a lot of off roading jokes yes.

But if you like them, then thats all that matters.

Re: new wheels

Get 16's of the second wheel. IMO it looks better. Plus you'll have better traction with the bigger sidewall, and it will be lighter.

I have KYB AGX's with Sportline springs, and all that set me back about 600 bucks. You can get a good coil-over set for that much, but I just didn't want to fool with them.

I also think you should go 15's, but go with some Slipstreams or some C 8's or something. I think those wheels look like those Motige(sp) MR7's or whatever they were. Pep-boys special is what I always called'um.

Re: new wheels

so u dont like the rims i priced out, there isnt much that fits into my price range and theres like 2 wheel shops in my city, so not much selection.
so u guys think i should go for 15s?
how bad will it look with 17's if its not lowerd, cause if i can get a decent suspention set up for 500-600 is it worth it?

Get your wheels online dude. This is a good website for you. It shows you what the wheels are gonna like on the car. 500 for a nice suspension is a good deal, but you also need a camber kit, alignment, and most likely new lugs to fit onto the rims. Do it right, not the cheep-o-way. Don't cut your springs, or buy some E-Bay bullshit. Get quality stuff, and it will show. Do what looks clean, not what everyone "thinks" is cool.

It is your car, and i'm not telling you what to do with it, but I would like to see another clean ED on the road instead of another riced out altezza tailight, crome wheels on cut springs, and 5% window tent car driving on the road.

Re: new wheels

whoever the guy is saying that tinting your windows is riced out must live in a really cold place it keeps the heat out and do u really want ppl seein good shit in your car or do u not have any good shit in your car. where i live tinting your windows keeps stuff from melting and ppl from stealing anything of value, EDs are like green houses. u can have tinted windows and not be "riced out" big body kits, altezzas, apc stickers and fart cans are riced out
