Climate Control 96 Bonneville

Fan speed has run fast and slow a couple of times right after I start out in the morning. It seems to be working fine now. Only did this a couple times, but the control seemed that it couldn't make up it's mind what speed to run the fan at. Any ideas?

Re: Climate Control 96 Bonneville

Well, if you set the ECC to Auto, you are at the mercy of the car to determine fan speed. One time this is nice is when it's very cold. If you have it on full hot, the fan will not blow on high until the coolant temp has reached a certain temp. This way you aren't blasted with cold air just after starting. Since this is August, I'm guessing that this is not what's happenening.

If it's working fine now, I wouldn't be too worried but if it continues then your blower motor of blower control module might be suspect
