Can you please post the info on your car (year, engine, aftermarket upgrades) and what kit you looked at. I'm assuming that you looked at the kit at hahnracecraft.com. If that's the kit that your looking at then the only things I would recomend that the kit doesn't come with is a boost controller and a boost gauge. All of your stock parts (except what the kit replaces) should work for a 5-12 psi upgrade. If you want to boost higher than that then I would upgrade your pistons and replace your head bolts with something stronger. Your tranny should be fine up to 400 whp.

Re: aside from the turbo

looks to me like the kit has basically everything youll need. only things i can think of are little ones, like if your turbo is oil cooled then your gonna need a 1-1/16 in socket, and theres a little breather tube on top of the engine that your current intake connects too, your turbo one wont so you need to do sometihng with that tube. what we did was we just bought this little mini air filter at autozone and stuck it on there. looks just like a regular cone filter but its only about 2 inches long, if that.

ok well so would u recommend doing this to an avenger or is just a pos that isnt worth fixing??? and also if anyone would know why my car has a grinding when i shift into second gear at a high rpm it grinds ive looked for recalls but none are showing this. when i first bought my car it had a grind in reverse or 5th gear cant remember and they replaced my tranny w/ a new one, but now it has a 2nd gear grind.

From what I've read about the kit, it's the best kit that you can buy aftermarket for a stock system. You'll notice a huge jump in power. As for the grinding, it's your syncros for second. Those usually go out faster than the others for people who like to race. Replace the syncro and it should fix the problem.
