HyPsi87

Hello Everyone,
I am HyPsi87's Father... it is an honor for me to see all of the people
that he touched. I am devastated over the fact that he is gone, as well as all of our family members. As as parent you sometimes don't get to be
a friend, we were just getting started. Someone said he was happy, I can tell you it was true. I am sure he is up there somewere helping others and
rippin' up pavement between stops. I am proud to be his Father and it hurts most because,we had so much to do yet.
I am also a grease monkey, I am more into 4 wheel drive stuff. If there is a way for me to pull it off, I am going to have a Grand National of my own
in the near future. It will be in his Honor
I am sorry that I could not know all of his friends(or barely any) his 3 sisters and 1 brother keep me busy working to the parent thing.
Anyway, I could talk forever about Andy, as I will, but please allow me to be a small part of the forum in his memory....
Feel free to contact me. The Old Man(Andy's words)
Thanks
P.S. He also has a sister in Michigan, who is a wonderful young lady
so as not to leave her out.

Re: HyPsi87

Hey Jeff, I am truly sorry for your lose and will miss Andy dearly to the day I pass, I can;t imagine what a lose like that is like to a father but Andy often told me how much you meant to him. This forum is unfortanly not a high traffic forum as it is meant for new people to the site and who did not have the pleasure to get to know Andy like the rest of us did. I will move this to the approriate off topic forum and email you a link so you can find it easier. Like I said in my email, I am truly sadened by this lose and we would like to set up a thread for us to donate to any cost your family might have from this tragedy and Igor has asked us to get that set up but I will discuss that more with you in email, again I am truly sorry for your lose.

John

Re: HyPsi87

Jeff, i dont know if he ever mentioned me but i was fortunate enough to get to spend time with Andy, i hung out with him several times and was even close to purchasing Jason's Grand National that Andy was selling for him. I can tell you that your son meant a lot as a friend to me, and was always willing to help me when i had a question. I'm gonna miss him a lot, but i know he's in a better place and i'll get to see him someday. I would also like to deliver the letters that are being sent to me, to you if it's possible, i know where Jason lives but i would like to give them to you more than anyone.

Thanks,
Josh

Re: HyPsi87

"The Old Man",

I would like to say that you should be so proud of raising such a wonderful human being. He has enriched the lives of everyone on this forum with a kind hand and a warm heart. Andy was a strong spirit and we all know he is now wearing the angel halo and wings that we all knew, in our hearts, that he always had.

Thank you for bringing into the world a blessed child and a wonderful friend. His memory will live on with everyone who has ever met him as one of the most kindest people that they have ever met, bar-none.

I have never met him in person unfortunately although he treated me fairly even when I didn't deserve it. I am grateful to have ever met Andy, even only and for only a short while.

Please be proud of him and what he has done with his life. Wel all know that Andy was doing what he loved best when he left us all, driving a G.N.

Be proud of Andy for he was an astonishing individual.

Thank you, and may your and your families hearts mend with the thought of Andy as a wonderful son, brother, nephew and friend.

-Xeno

Re: HyPsi87

I offer my condolences for your huge loss.

As a father of two young boys, I can only imagine how I would feel if I lost one of them.

Andy was a great help in our community, and he made a great many friends from the power of his words in print alone.

He will be missed, and as I mentioned in another thread, will be spreading burnout clouds across the sky.

Let me know if there's anything...anything in my power to do, I will do my best to help.

Re: HyPsi87

Like I've always said... It's so strange how one can become so connected to someone they've never even met. The Internet is a pretty unique tool in that sense, I suppose.

When I heard of Andy's death... My heart sank, the same way that my heart sank when I heard of my Grand Father's death. I almost started laughing, as it seems insane to be so affected by someone that I had never known personally.

I'm sitting there thinking 'Man, if this guy had this much affect on me, over the Internet... Imagine what he was like in person'

You raised a down to Earth, Hell of a guy. I just wanted to say that.

I personally send my condolences for your loss. I was in his forum occasionally and, when I was, he always answered my question(s) quickly, accurately and politely. He really was a great guy.

Re: HyPsi87

It's been a long time since I first met Andy on these forums, and from the first time I spoke to him as everyone has said he struck me as someone kind, caring and knowledgeable. I still cannot put into words the grief that I feel over the loss of Andy, but I feel we can all rest assured that he is in a better place, working on his GN and ripping on V8s. He was a great friend and teacher to many people here, and has touched many lives.

Let me know as well if there is anything that I can do - John (FormulaLT1) knows how to get in direct contact with me.

Thank you for bringing to this world such a high quality son and human being. I wish you and all your family the best through this trying time,

Kasey

Re: HyPsi87

Jeff: I've known Andy since his first days here at AF. I'm the moderator for Buick, where Andy got his start. It was I who suggested him for moderator, and we remained close friends the whole time we moderated.

Andy was a terrific person, and an absolutley awesome friend. I believe a child's traits are a direct reflection of the parents, and to raise a great son like Andy, you're one hell of a great guy.

I realize nothing will replace Andy, but I hope you understand the degree to which he helped these forums. He was always being helpful, and was patient with everyone. It was an honor to be his friend.

God Bless you Jeff, and take care

Anthony

He was (and still is, somewhere) one of the good ones. I'm sure he's looked upon favorably by The Higher Power. Your family has my prayers in this rough time.

Re: HyPsi87

Jeff,

When i first joined this forum, i was a trouble maker, Andy was the mod that did most of the policing in the camaro forum, and needless to say we got to know each other. over time he reined me in, and actually supported me in a situation when i was nominated to become a mod myself. Andy stayed right with me, helped me learn the ropes, taught me how to be a good mod. On top of that, he was always there on the forum to answer a turbocharging question, or bash my V8 with his Six banger comments lol. You could always count on him for the help youd need and a side order of whitty banter. I regret to have never met him in person, he was an excelent mod on the forum, an awesome person to just shoot the shit with, and above all else was an all around great guy.

Id like to repeat the sentiment from above, that despite having so many other kids to raise, you certainly didnt do it at the expense of Andy, im sure i dont have to tell you he was a son to be proud of.

Best wishes to you and your family.

-Erik
