JDM motor on mr2 turbo 91-95????????

Hi!

I wanna buy a MR2 turbo 93 or higher...

Everybody who have one seems to have swap the engine for a JDM motor... I don't really know it. Is it better??

Please tell me what you think about those engines.

THX

Mike

Why do you want a 93+?

Most people do NOT swap engines for the JDM and I do not recommend it.

If it's already turbo, don't do the jdm turbo swap.

All that'll get you is... not passing smog.

Rebuild it or get another USDM engine.

Re: JDM motor on mr2 turbo 91-95????????

why bother going to the extra expense of an HKS turbo over a Garrett?
i'd go with a TRD supercharger anyway (lol or whoever makes them)

GAH a 95?!

Do NOT mod that, it's a rarity among rarities.

Well, in the US 94/95s are really rare.

Production stopped for us in 95 too
