ive only had my car for like 1 1/2 months and i love it...but the interior is buns...i hate it its too plane i was thinking about doing crx dash swap and crx seats...whaddya think? guage cluster too and i wanna repair all the rust/dents in it as well...but the little guy on my other shoulder is telling me to just go fast and forget looks what do you guys think???? im leaning more twords making it look nice first...im only 17 ive got plenty of time

Just repair the rust. CRX seats won't even bolt up without modification. You can do a CRX dash swap but you better know some stuff about wiring. What model is your civic? I'd say do mpfi, tune-up and basic bolt ons to get started...

How much more is a swap though!? I mean, they're so cheap do so things like a DOHC ZC or even a single cam VTEC.

As far as looks vs. motor, its pointless to look flashy and be slow as dirt. Besides, when you're driving your car you can't even see what it looks like, instead of having something thats a blast to drive and will never go out of style.

i agree do a smwll swap even if its just to a zc or si big step up from dpfi and 93 hp. plus its just funner to go fast.

sorry i dont want a dented/rusted out car? ... im not talking about like a body kit or soemthing ... i just want my car to look good.As for bolt ons i know your still incredibly slow and theyre a waste of money and it would be stupid to bolt on performance parts to an engine with 260,000+ mileage

Oh yeah, bolt-ons are stupid... especially ceramic coated headers, unorthodox racing pulleys, act flywheels and clutches (they bolt on)... You know what? I have all this shit... and maybe after the body work is done to my POS I'll swap to a built d16y8 with a "bolt-on" turbo...

Yikes.. Didn't mean to upset you.. But what I was getting at was for what you spent on those parts, a SOHC VTEC and/or a DOHC ZC would still beat you. Sorry.

Take him to the cleaners! Yar! I dont really like these hondas enough to bolt stuff onto them, I just welded my oil filter on so I dont have to worry about doing that again- ever.
