whats it do?
Hey my 98 GP has that little buttion on the side of the gear shifter, that when you press it a little light comes on the dash that says "perf shift" i would check the manual but when i bought the car it diddnt have one, i just ordered one from ebay though. just wanted to know what that little buttion did, thanks.

It increases the transmission shift points and firms up the shifting for better performance.......supposedly.

BTW - You'll get better gas mileage with performance shift off.

ohh ok, just wanted to know, i never really felt a difference, and of course i wanna save gas too, thx.

Don't worry. Superchargers don't give you bad mileage. It's your lead foot that does that.
