Apexi v-afc

i'll get to the point, my vtec controller no longer saves the settings. as soon as i shut the car off and restart im back to a reset. and its not that big of a deal cause i dont have any air/fuel settings done yet, and setting cyl/vtec engagement takes a second, but what a PITA! it use to save settings once initialized but not nemore.. any ideas? all wires were soldered professionally so i dunno.
