Help! Where is the Fuel Pressure Regulator?
My 98 GMC 1/5 ton pickup with 5.7L is exhibiting the systoms of a bad fuel pressure regulator. Just bought one from the parts store, but I can't find the thing on the truck.
Is it in plain view or do I have to revome something to find it? Thanks for any help. |

Re: Help! Where is the Fuel Pressure Regulator?
You have to take the upper half of the intake manifold off to get to the fuel pressure regulator.

Re: Help! Where is the Fuel Pressure Regulator?
Is the black placstic portion the "upper half of the intake manifold". If so, this is a half day jog, correct?
