OOPS...Ran out of gas.

1991 Nissan Maxima ran out of gas. What do I need to do to get it running again? I already put more gas in the tank. If I need to prime the injectors, how do I do it?

put gas in it. open and close the ignition switch to get gas to the injectors, and try to start. hopefully you didnt ruin the fuel pump, which is a very costly oops.

When u turn ign, pump will start (you'll hear it). If not, check fuses. If not, take rear seat off and measure from connector the +12V. If not, repair. If voltage present, pump should turn, If not, replace.

Its also possible that filter became blocked from tank bottom soot. Replace.

When pump ok, gas will be flowing to injectors. Fuel hose near filter is stiff... Start an go!
