Completed: Tamiya Porsche 959

Just wanted to throw this up before I head off to work, more pictures later when I have the chance to upload them. It's a Tamiya Porsche 959, the kit was 13 years old when I bought it, and sprayed in Alclad II Prismatic Green to Gold paint. The interior isn't my best, and I'll probably fix it later. All and all, a wonderful build for a 13 year old model.

I picked this photo because it really shows the color shifting properties of the paint.

looks good! haven't seen anything like that on a porsche before. lets see some interior pics.

only bad thing with the paintjob is the metal flakes look REALLY big.

As I said before, I hate the interior. I'll repaint it when I finish with my other models. But here are some more picture of the Porsche:

I really like the light in that last picture, how it's just a strip in the middle of the car. Also, look through the vents on the rear bumper in the third picture, you can spot a turbocharger

So, in recap, I'm taking comments on the exterior and suggestions for a new interior scheme.

That paint would look grooovy on an old Impala lowirder, well pimped. Nice to see the 959 in another colour other than the usual boring silver grey, good work.

Re: Completed: Tamiya Porsche 959

Thank you. Since those pictures were taken, I redid the interior to make the car look a lot less like a watermelon.

Don't like the interior or the exterior? Because like I said, I re-painted the interior tan.

Re: Completed: Tamiya Porsche 959

... are you suggested I completely redo this model or something? Because dude, Alcad II Prismatic isn't just paint you dip to get rid of. It's BLOODY expensive stuff.
