87 2.8 v6 camaro

I have a 87 camaro v6 2.8 it wont ok here is my problem.

i went out driveing the other night to a friends house car was runing fine i get there shut it off and go hang out for a while i get back in my car and start it to only have it stall.

so i try again and it stalled out again, so i just two footed it home and messed around w/ it and i found that if i unhook the Throttle position switch it will idle but wont rev up so i put a new one in and still the same issue where it wont idle.

So i unhooked the idle screw valve i think thats what it is it screws into the back side of the top of the throttle bodie and it will idle about 2000-2500 so i replaced that and once i hooked it up it died out again.

I do have a small leak in my gas tank that i just found out about on monday.

my question is what else could it be?
