Need more power!

I have a 240 SE and I want more power! Any simple and cheap mods I can do on the car? I understand that its a 4 cyl. but its not good enough. Thanks.

i assume you have a B230F engine. A 2.3 liter straight 4-cylinder engine with no turbo.

The cheapest way is to get an R-sport turbokit from Volvo and put that on the engine or simply change the engine to a volvo 4-cylinder turbocharged engine.

I would recommend the 940 turbo engines B230FT and B230FK. The difference between them is the pressure the turbo charges and has little importance, since you'll probably turn up the pressure anyways...

so:
- get an r-sport turbokit
- get a new engine w/turbo

tuning the engine without a turbo is harder, more expensive, more timeconsuming and you won't get as much horsepower out of it...
