Tire Noob Question

Sorry if this sounds silly, but I thought I'd double check. If my vehicle manual recommends p225/75R-15 tires and I am running p235/75R-15 am I ok in doing this? Nothing is rubbing. Thanks for all your help. And sorry if this is such a silly question.

Re: Tire Noob Question

Your speedometer and odometer will be off with the wider, taller tires.

A taller tire will make the speedo read lower than your actual speed.
The difference between a 225 and a 235 will be neglegible.
