tranny grinding poll does yours grind and did u fix it..how?
wanted to see how u guys were dealing with the grinding prob. that must of us prob. have. i have some royal purple and was wondering if it worked for any of u guys.

my tranny used to grind 1-2, until it blew a hole through the bellhousing...now it doesn't grind any gears anymore because it's laying on the garage floor
 lol RIP tranny

Mine grinds when downshifting into 3rd, and on high rpm upshifts into 3rd. Bought used tranny w/this problem which is obviously the synchronizer. Not complaining, bought it for $450can last summer. A friend of a friend has a mint 4g67 tranny in his hyundai that has a seized block. The guy told me if I peel the tranny out myself he'll sell it for 100 bucks, can't go wrong. I'm going to drive ~180km(~112.5miles) to where the car is parked. I'm gonna install that tranny into my car (since it easier then swaping tranny parts) and put my 4g67 tranny up for sale for $250. Anyone in the GTA that has a 1G 4g63NA that needs a tranny PM me, 3rd synchro is bad, but the ratio's will give you a significant increase in acceleration (not horsepower lol) but decrease your top-speed. You'll also be reving 3800RPM in 5th @ 120km/h (~75mph) as opposed to 3200RPM if i remember correctly. The install in a direct bolt on w/o any modifications, I'll even throw in a re-built starter w/it since I have a collection of about 12 right now (don't ask why).

My tranny use to grind once in a while, until it blew...So I had it rebuilt and no more grinding!

my 98 eclipse had same gring in 3rd gear, just skipped 3rd for awhile, not any fun LOL. have new prob though clutch broke, and I mean broke sent fingers through bellhousing, so If anybody has a shot tranny with a good bellhousing for sale cheap let me know.
