difference between 700 and 4l60e
is there a way you can tell the difference between the 700 anf 4l60e from the outside? i ordered one off of the internet and when it comes in, i want to make sure it is the correct one.

The 4l60e has a different harness than the 700R4 since the 4l60e uses shift solenoids. I can't remember how many wires but the 4l60e has more than the 700r4.
Also, if you pull the pan, the 700r4 only has one solenoid (the TCC) where the 4l60e will have 4. //2000CAYukon
