Installing a headlight switch

how do i install the switch? I have the top of the dash off, and the driver speaker, and i still can't get to it. Don't wanna break anything, so i waited to see what u all have to say. Could of prevent the whole problem if i but in the right fuse...

Shouldn't you just be able to take the torx screws out of the front bezel (s/p) and away you go?

By that what i thought too, but it further back, or are we talking about the same thing? The unit where the long silver rod, which the knob hooks onto, goes into. Is that the switch or is the switch something else? I know when i turned the knob (for the instr. panel) there was a popping noise, like sparks. So, is it the unit the rod goes into or something else?

lle me drink some coffee, see if I can stop my nose from running like niagra falls for a minute, get some clraity and try adn remember.

But yes, the main light switch is what I'm talking about.

ok, moment of clarity achieved:

i was right, that's all you ahve left ot do, remove the bezel, pess the locking button on the old switch to pull the knob out, disconnect the old swithc and viola!
