Suspension Maxx adjustable front end lift
I have been lloking around and found this front end lift for full size Chevrolet and GMC pick ups. It is suppose to be for 1999-2005 models and raise the front end of these trucks. It is called suspension maxx cam series 2 adjustable tortion bar levers. They have an informative web site and sounds interesting. I was just wondering if anyone has tried it?

Re: Suspension Maxx adjustable front end lift
with all due respect that is a crock of sh*t.....i'd say that those look a hell of a lot like ford keys........which can be bought from fordparts.com for like 18 bucks......you could even adjust your stock ones to gain another 1.5 to 2 inches.........search for torsion bar adjustments on here and there are a lot of posts about this....definitely not worth $170.....imho

Re: Suspension Maxx adjustable front end lift
Yeah, I 've seen these before. Total rip-off. As airjam18 said they won't do anything that a Ford key won't do for you, except leave you poorer. Once "set" to where it needs to be, how is it any more adjustable than any other torsion key?
![]() Oh yeah, don't confuse cranking up and/or installing Ford keys (leveling) with "lift kits".

I'm with them. I gained about 2" in front end height just by turning my adjusting bolts in 8 turns. With re-indexed keys I could get the same lift without cranking the bolts so far, but the result is the same. Tension is tension as far as the bars are concerned, regardless of keys.
If you have room to go higher and run out of bolt threads, try the Ford keys. |
