hello, new.

hello to everyone, im new to this forum, from south tx. i got an 01 2.2L cavy nothing really on it but 17s and droped. any one got the same with good mods in it? that could tell me some good things to get. idk that much about mods, so i need help...

I too have a lowered 01 Cavy with 17's. As far as mods go, you can do an intake, headers, high flow cat, and a cat back for a fairly small budget. You could do nitrous and/or engine swap and/or boost if you have deep pockets. In my opinion, if you want to go fast, sell your car. If you still want a Cavy, get one with an ecotec or a z24.

Build on hold until I get a good paying job, either in school or once I get out. At that time a full tear down and complete rebuild should be in order.

yeah i was thinking of getting the intake and headers by this weekend, i already got the high flow cat, and cat back just today, it was pretty good i think, for less than 150 bucks. and nah i cant sell my cavy, i love it.

you need to go with an intake system and exhaust. Cavy's dont have much power but when u put the system on there, you can feel a difference. i think it would be a good investment. I did it to my 99 and i can feel the difference and i get even better gas milage

I am just wondering how you guys put headers on it... i have the 2.4 and i can only get one header on...
