when did you replace your shocks?

Due to the nature of the gradual wear on shocks, I'm not too sure if my wife's tahoe needs a new set (00hoe, 89K bought used @ 56K). but what the h3ll, I think i wanna do it anyway.
At what point (miles) did you replace your shocks? Did you do it out of necessity, or just because? What did you go with, and are you happy with your choice after the fact?
If you got any helpful tips for install, i'd be happyto take those too

Re: when did you replace your shocks?

Shocks are for Dampening. Does your ride feel different from day one? Any Firestone will check your shocks for free.

How often you change your shocks really depends on type of usage. Visit Firestone.
