Re: pro-touring anyone?

Have several customers in Europe doing this G-machine thing. Some awesome hardware out there!
We built "Mulholland (sp?) Drive" cars in California 35 years ago, to race on the Angeles Crest Highway, and Waterman Canyon (outside San Bernardino. It really isn't "new", but it has certainly been "upgraded". I knew of a '31 Simca (French Dodge...) with a 303 Pontiac in it, that TORE UP the auto-cross crowd before it was ever called that. They called them "parking lot sloloms".
Pretty Camaro. Small block, I suppose... Where do you hail from?

Re: pro-touring anyone?

A "beach" boy, huh? I grew up in San Bernardino and Riverside (ICK!!!). Used to go down to Huntington and Newport for surfing. Cool places! Nephew lives in Redondo these days. Have you been to "Route 66 Rondevous" yet? I went a few years back. What a show! 3,000 cars! It happens the end of September in Berdoo.
I ran into some guys from Riverside while at the TriPower Nats at Norwalk last week. We had a grand time talking about all the old street racing places we used to frequent. Turns out one of the best ones is STILL active! (after 35 years...)
Hang ten, dude!!! (do they still say that...? Argh! Argh! Humor...)
