AF meet at Carlisle!!!

How many times have we all said we'd love to meet up?

Well, here's our chance! I propose an AF/PH meet at the Carlisle show on May 3rd at the Clarion Hotel in the area. We could meet up in the parking lot and just check out rides, etc. The sky's the limit! It wouldn't have to be anything fancy or formal. Just a chance to put some names with faces.

It would have to be a late evening/Friday night affair. Time suggestions can be taken, but be sure to hurry so that we can make this thing official before we leave!!! And that's that! (Let's just hope "ric" is willing to share me j/k)

yeah ladies i think you can find a little time to stop over at the clarion on friday night and get a little meet going. we have two rooms and the clarion was a very chill but fun place last year. hopefully most of the people that stayed there will be there again because we had a blast. unlike the morons that were at the super8 doing burnouts and busted by the cops.

its gonna have to be on friday because my car will be on the show field all day saturday and if i win anything which i doubt i will have to be there sunday and im trying to get the hell out of there after i get whatever i get if anything at all. im thinking either 6 or 7 pm on friday would be the best time. thats early enough to be light out and not to late tso that you can go back to whatever it is you were doing before the meet.

Even though my car wasnt ready- & i had to drive around in a rented White Focus... ~~ I still had alot of fun -- Oh & i strongy recommend u guys stay @ tha comfort in-- yo that place is sooo damn nice!!

Congratulations! I had a blast this weekend in Carlisle too. I got put in the radical import all class and won 2nd place, some peice of shit beat me, he must have had ALOT of friends there!! We all stayed in Shippensburg, PA at a friends house and were partying all night Saturday and we caught some kids trying to break into all of our cars, when we caught them they were trying to steal my friends wheels!!

Hey i just wanted to let everyone know about the rumors we heard from some of the local police and a hotel manager sat night. Seems that the locals are pissed about all the trouble the import crowd causes at this show. seems there is a movement by some of the local businesses and such to get the custom compact show out of carlisle. The cop we were talking to said this was the first time people have tried to get a show cancel for the next year and the motel manager said that a lot of hotels hate when the import show comese to town...he seemed cool though. Some of my friends stayed at the Quality Inn by 81 and the guy came out and would tell us when the cops were coming cause some dumb asses staying in a room kept calling the cops about the load noise.

And did anyone else hear about the gun.... the cop told us that there was a gun pulled at the car show sat night when everyone was leaving and thats why they locked everything down. Thats all i really heard some of the guys staying at the hotel actually walked back faster then people driving back.

I thought the show was cool... and by cool i mean f@$*ing awesome. The problem is that there are not things to do at night. What do you expect when you got a ton of kids who just want to have fun. The car show should have some kind of night events like a concert or something....
I think the people who run this show should figure out something to do with all those kids at night or we might not see a car show next year in carlisle.

Yeah I had heard about how the people in the town are pissed off about all the trouble everyone makes. One of my friends lives in that town and is actually a judge for the top flight class and she said that there is no way that they are going to cancel it because everyone is so pissed off about it. Because if you think about it if they are charging $30 a head or so and there was that many people there that is pretty much the biggest income that the town gets. You are definently right about them needing to try to figure out to do something at night, like a live dj or something and have a big party. I also heard about the gun too. What I heard was that this guy was cleaning his car and this other guy came up and accidentally spilled his soda on his car and that started a big fight which led up to the gun being pulled out. I got to hear alot of shit about this show because of her being a judge!!

Our hotel was friggin wild on Friday night. The mess the next morning was truly abominable.

I am sooooo going next year, though. Hopefully I'll have my G ready by then! What a blast!!!

well i am glad some people had some fun at a hotel. my friends had a room full of fags at their hotel. They were there for the show and were calling the cops at like 11 about noise. We would have had a wet t-shirt comp on the balcony if it wasn't for those asses.

did anyone else not like the guy on stage during the burn-out comp who just kept giving the thumbs down and the finger to everyone who pulled up?

Dude, the chick in the red tank w/all the Mardi Gras beads had the NASTIEST boobs, and it wasn't like I could just look away since she was like RIGHT in front of me. And why is it I had to sit through the godawful bikini competition to see some burnouts???

Oh well. Next year will be even better b/c I'll know what to expect.
