Cop car engine in austin westminster

Hi, I'm about to purchase an 65 austin westminster that has no rust, i like the look of the car, and I'd like to hot rod it, it has a hood scoop to boot. I figured to buy a used crown vic cng pi, and put the eng +tranny + rear end in the austin,

I want to do this because of easier to get parts, plus I like the fact of having more power and running on natural gas.

I know I won't be making money on this, I just want a decent project.

Any suggestions?
